Howayyeeeeee

Griffin manages to remember where we went on vacation fairly regularly.

"Where did you fly on an airplane, Griffie?"

"Howaayyeeeeee!"

We took over 500 pictures, so bear with me while I share a dozen or so.

The flights were not bad. If you don't mind restless children with short attention spans, they were great!
We spent a lot of time on the beach.

And the pool...
And we did a little sight-seeing, like the drive up through Waimea Canyon.

And the drive back (that's chocolate donut, not blood)

Cooper found buried treasure on the beach one morning!

You may not be able to see his true pirate face in this picture...

So here's the cropped version.

Griffin got to play on the playground quite a bit. That was a big hit with him, that and the hot tub. I'm not kidding.

We tortured ourselves the last night to get a family picture.

By the end of it, there was a lot of chaos and very few pictures.
Overall, Cooper gave the trip a thumbs up.
And we flew home a little more tan, and a lot more tired. And very grateful, in this economy, that we were able to take a family vacation to Hawaii.

Great pics!! Andrew's favorite parts about the time share in Myrtle Beach were the playground and the hot tub (which he technically wasn't supposed to get in b/c he wasn't over the age of ten...). Oops.

Yes, it is so good that in this economy you were able to afford a family vacation to Hawaii. You, for one, should be grateful. ;)

What a great trip! I'm glad to hear you had fun with the whole family. Jeff and I have never been, and so we've tried to decide whether we would go by ourselves the first time, or just take the whole family. what would you suggest? The pictures are great! You're family is so adorable.
