Binnie went to Grandma's house for four days. Gage (my nephew) was in town from Houston and he wanted her to come spend the night with him, so they picked her up on Friday night and brought her back Monday afternoon. She had a blast! They played tenny ball with her constantly, she got to sniff new places outside and sleep with Gage (i.e. lick Gage all night long). When they brought her back on Monday, she crashed for a while....until the terrorist came home from preschool. Poor Binnie! She went and hid under my desk the rest of the day. It was then I realized that Cooper has really traumatized her. She loves Griffin because he just sits there and lets her lick his toes, but Cooper has really taken a liking to her. And this is not a good thing in Binnie's world. He squeezes too hard, he pats too hard, he screams too loud, and he cries too much for Binnie's liking.
Poor girl! I'm going to make an effort to give her extra attention and try to carve out a peaceful spot for her somewhere when Cooper's home.
Then Neil came into the family room this morning and said he wants to get a chocolate lab puppy in a few weeks. He's lost his mind.

Frank and Nancy have just started to realize that they can defend themselves against Andrew's toddler prodding. He comes up to me and says, "Frank hurt you." (Translation, "Frank hurt me.") I tell him that Frank doesn't always want to play and to please leave the cats alone!
Oh man about Neil wanting a chocolate lab! OY! :)
